Notes:
This is a super easy pattern to follow.  I chose to use a needle size smaller than what the pattern called for because I liked the fabric that it created.  I did aggressively block the final project and that really opened up the stitches and make sure that the edges of this little kerchief laid flat.  However, because this kerchief is primarily knit flat in a stockinette stitch, the top edge curls slightly even after blocking the finished piece.
The yarn that I used is a cotton and polyester blend.  I found that it worked well with the pattern and gives a lovely drape to the finished project.  The fabric it creates is also very soft to the touch which is perfect for late spring/early summer nights when you want something light around your neck to ward off the chill in the air.
This is a great pattern, well written, and easy to follow.  This is a good project for beginners that are interested in learning the basics of a triangle shawl and how it is constructed.  Because it is knit on such large needles, the fact that it is such a fine weight of yarn isn't going to slow a new knitter down.  This was a fantastically quick knit and I would love to make another one in the future.
